The eventual victory for Hebrew was a defining moment in the crystallization of the embryonic Jewish state’s national identity. Exhibits include early documents, photographs, and additional artifacts from the time the German Aid Society chose to establish a technical institute in this bleak corner of what was then the Ottoman Empire to the time that Technion opened its doors to the first intake of students (1908-1924). © 2011 Technion-Israel Institute of Technology, Division of Public Affairs and Resource Development All rights reserved.
